Aruba Networks, our solution partner

HPE Aruba Networking is the business networking brand of Hewlett Packard Enterprise. It makes switches, wireless access points and network management products. Aruba Networks is a solution partner of Synchron. We use Aruba products in our Wired and Wireless Network Management service. We design, install and operate the network.

Features and Benefits

  • Security

We apply role-based access policies with the same rules on the wired and wireless network.

  • Guest Network

We set up a separate SSID and VLAN for guest users and block access to the company network.

  • Capacity Plan

We choose switch and access point models by user density, PoE and uplink needs.

  • Access Control

With Dynamic Segmentation we grant access to users and devices by role.

  • Central Management

With HPE Aruba Networking Central we configure and monitor switches and access points from one screen.

  • Expert Support

The team that installs the system also operates and supports it. Our support line is available 24/7.

Frequently asked questions

How are Aruba network devices managed?

HPE Aruba Networking Central is a cloud or on-premises management platform. It configures and monitors switches and access points from one screen. During the installation, we register the devices in Central and prepare the configuration templates.

How do you select the Aruba CX switch model?

We select the model by the network layer, the port count and the PoE need. The CX 6000 is for the entry-level access layer. The CX 6300 is used where stacking and multi-gigabit PoE are necessary. The CX 6400 is modular and is also used in the core layer.

Do Aruba switches power Wi-Fi 7 access points?

Yes. The CX 6200 Series gives a high PoE budget for the latest Wi-Fi 7 access points. In the project, we calculate the PoE need of each access point and the total PoE budget of the switch together.

What does Aruba Dynamic Segmentation do?

Dynamic Segmentation gives access rights to a user or a device by its role. It applies the role-based policy of the wireless network to wired ports too. Thus the same user stays under the same rule on the wired and wireless network.

Do you give support after the Aruba installation?

Yes. We do software updates, configuration changes and troubleshooting within our Wired and Wireless Network Management service. When a fault needs on-site work, our Field Support Services team goes to the site.
