Fortinet makes FortiGate next-generation firewalls and network security products. Fortinet is a solution partner of Synchron. We use FortiGate devices in our Firewall Management service. We design the topology, configure the devices and run their daily operation.

Security Services
FortiGate offers FortiGuard services such as intrusion prevention, web filtering and antivirus. We enable and tune these services as needed.
Hardware Acceleration
According to Fortinet, FortiGate speeds up security functions with dedicated security processors (SPU). We select the model by traffic and security service needs.
Central Management
We manage multiple FortiGate devices centrally with FortiManager and review logs with FortiAnalyzer.
Redundancy
At critical sites we install two FortiGate devices as a high availability (HA) cluster.

- FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer: FortiManager gives central management of many devices, and FortiAnalyzer gives central logging, analysis and reporting.
