Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) makes ProLiant servers and business infrastructure products. HPE is a solution partner of Synchron. We use HPE ProLiant servers in our Field Support Services and Operating System Management services. We supply and install the hardware and give on-site support when a fault occurs.

HPE products we use
- HPE ProLiant Compute Gen12: the current server generation of HPE. The family covers rack, tower, edge and AI servers.
- ProLiant DL rack servers: example models are the DL320 Gen12 (1U, single processor), the DL340 Gen12 (2U, single processor) and the DL360 Gen12 (1U, two processors).
- ProLiant ML tower servers: an example model is the ML350 Gen12. It has an optional rack chassis.
- HPE iLO 7: the management controller on the server. It monitors and manages the server remotely.
- Silicon Root of Trust: the hardware security foundation in iLO. It verifies the firmware layers when the server starts.
- HPE OneView: software that manages the server infrastructure from one panel.
HPE storage systems
We supply HPE storage products to organizations that want to keep server data on one storage system. We select the model for the need, install it, connect it to the servers and support it during operation.
- HPE MSA 2070: an entry-level shared storage system from the HPE MSA Gen7 family. Drive enclosures add capacity. According to HPE, it is tested together with ProLiant servers, and one support call covers both the servers and the storage.
- HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000: an enterprise storage system that runs block and file workloads on one architecture. According to HPE, performance and capacity scale independently, and ransomware protection is built in.
